Grid computing center What on Mars is that? I've Googled those words but nothing meaningful comes out of it. I run a tonne of machines with different projects depending on their ability so I could be affected by this madness and I'd be none the wiser. |

btw - what is SAM? Am'I missing something? https://am.statseb.fr/ (I think there is only a French version, but maybe I'm wrong) And DHEP is now managed everywhere. |

Things not working ? like what ? (examples) I can't react to https://signature.statseb.fr/forum/ , being stopped by the Pun stop bots question 'How many letters are in the latin alphabet'? which won't accept any answer in any languge or digit. Our badges for Atlas@Home are still showing for LHC@Home -years out-of-date. Seb does not react to PM's either.

Things not working ? like what ? (examples) I think I had to Google than one. It's 23. My Atlas badges finally showed up there. :) Want to find one of the largest known primes? Try PrimeGrid. Or help cure disease at WCG.

Thanks for the 23! A pity LHC@Home can't get their act together, subproject-wise. Only badges for Atlas, not showing the points for the other subprojects and exporting mostly empty stats files to the stats sites.

iThena is another NCI project. The top ranking teams are rather clearly running large numbers of virtual clients, numbers in the thousands. Ithena is different, however, in that each of those instances will be doing useful work. There's a cost to running each instance, as they are doing substantial network traffic. If someone wants to run lots of instances, I don't see why anyone would care. It's the equivalent of running lots of CPU cores for CPU intensive apos. Want to find one of the largest known primes? Try PrimeGrid. Or help cure disease at WCG.
