Howdy All,

I recently noticed I'm not getting wuprop tasks on my laptop. Can't be certain but I believe it started around the time I updated to 10.13.2 High Sierra. Here is my log in the BOINC client:

Tue Jan 2 16:40:13 2018 | WUProp@Home | update requested by user
Tue Jan 2 16:40:16 2018 | WUProp@Home | Sending scheduler request: Requested by user.
Tue Jan 2 16:40:16 2018 | WUProp@Home | Requesting new tasks for Intel GPU
Tue Jan 2 16:40:17 2018 | WUProp@Home | Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks
Tue Jan 2 16:40:17 2018 | WUProp@Home | Not accepting requests from this host

Ring any bells for anyone? I updated to BOINC 7.8.4 but no luck.

~ Jack

It does seem that way, though it's just isolated to one of my machines. Is it possible that client has been flagged for some reason? Seems strange that it would happen on a machine that's been running the project for almost 5 years with no custom configurations.

I'm guessing it was flagged as a 2nd client due to the OS change. PM the admin to have it corrected.

It looks like that happened around the same time some old unpurged tasks were cleaned up in the database.
There were reports from some users gaining credit for projects they had never created an account for. Your host becoming banned might be another oddity from the cleanup.
