PG changed their LLR app names from version 8.03 to 8.04 (mt) and the hours are not appearing here. This isn't a "major change" and shouldn't cause the creation of a new app as far as WuProp is concerned, the hours should still go to the same places. I'm sure the (mt) is confusing whatever automation ignores version numbers.

Plan class != app name.

The app names didn't change, but I think you're right about the hours not registering.

This seems to be affecting many people at PrimeGrid, based upon our forums, Discord server, and private communications.

The new PPS-DIV app from Primegrid is also not registering here on WuProp.... seems no LLR app from Primegrid is recording hours now....

PG is one of the largest hours producers, especially when there's a new subproject like PPS-DIV - I've probably put in several thousand hours myself just in the last couple of days on that one app. It's really frustrating to see my WuProp hours/day drop by 80%...

PPS-DIV and other LLR projects are now showing in my account again and it looks like some back hours also posted.

Time for PPS-DIV is reported incorrectly. I ran it for last 24h hours on 32 core machine, so I should have at least 500 hours. However WUProp shows 87 hours only.

PPSE multi-threaded is only showing hours for a single thread even if running using more than one thread.

you have unconfigured settings for multithreaded tasks - there is no correspondence with the declared threads and number of cores

15:39:45 (1142): facteur correction: 0.842105 (16/19.934000)
. . . . .
19:36:45 (1142): facteur correction: 0.941176 (16/17.000000)
19:37:45 (1142): facteur correction: 0.941176 (16/17.000000)

17:21:11 (13960): facteur correction: 0.888889 (8/9.022000)
17:22:11 (13960): facteur correction: 0.888889 (8/9.022000)
17:23:11 (13960): facteur correction: 0.888889 (8/9.012000)
17:24:11 (13960): facteur correction: 0.888889 (8/9.012000)

recalculate the declared threads in the manager "running(4 CPUs)" or (0.74 CPU + 1 NVidia)
check app_config for all active projects (avg_ncpus = cmdline -t)

<app_version>
<app_name>llrPPSE</app_name>
<plan_class>mt</plan_class>
<avg_ncpus>4</avg_ncpus>
<cmdline>-t 4</cmdline>
</app_version>

Thanks, I will try that.

As far as PG is concern their multithreading setup works just fine for Boinc, only because I am a WUprop junkie is there a problem. I wonder how many of my other PG tasks were affected by this as I have been running a lot of llr tasks under their multithreading setup in order to get faster times....

c'est la vie

Same problem here. Is this problem known?

Running PPS-DIV single thread, no problems, correct hours. Are You running single- or multithread?

They're running with 2 Threads/WU.

I also just saw, that my hosts running are not showing in the list. The list with the finished WUs seems correct, though...

I also run them using multiple cpu cores but I have no idea if wuprop can even detect that when giving us our hours? That may be a slight problem with the reporting system from PG as our data files show how many cores we are using to crunch a unit but if that isn't passed onto thru the stats file we may never get credit for all the multi core tasks we run at any of the projects that we can do that at.

How does Amicable Numbers do it? I know they also favor multi-threaded apps. Does it work for the other PG tasks? We could be missing ALOT of crunching hours over the years. What about LHC or LHCDev I run their apps using multiple cpu cores as well.

PG multi-threaded apps have been working fine for me and accruing the correct hours here afaik
i think the reported hours are based on CPU time, which is greater than wall clock time with MT

I ran PPS-DIV as mt as set by project settings, not from app_config, and hours were OK.
