Just curious if anybody is working on updating/creating an Android app. The little Droid Guys want to share in the reporting too. :)

Look here.
Android is listed for WuProp, the rest is for the projects. Einstein and Moo! at least presently have an Android app. According to me there are even more running on one of my Odroid-N2s, but it won't accept WuProp anymore for some devious reason.

I have some WuProp test applications running for Android but they looked to have stopped at 99.857%

If WUProp is the only active project, the workunit won't end until another project will be active.

No, my Androids are all running Universe at home. They've all moved on slightly to 99.966 now so I'll leave them running.

Wait are android tasks working again? Last I knew the validator was turned off because of validation problems. I've had this: http://wuprop.boinc-af.org/workunit.php?wuid=102906823 workunit pending for months.

I have various androids with different versions (6, 9, 11 & 12), but all running BOINC 7.18.1.
Since enabling remote control on them all, they all appear to be running correctly, WUs are validating, and I'm being credited with hours.

Thank you - it looks great from my point of view.

For the last couple of months, my Android Fire tablets (3 of them) have simply not been getting any WUProp tasks. The logs show they request tasks from the server, but the server doesn't send any.

It's as if the plan_class_spec for those specs is requiring something on the host that these tablets don't satisfy. I can run real tasks (WCG, Einstein, Yoyo, etc.) just fine, but I can't get tasks from WUProp. These tablets *used* to work just fine, but something changed on the WUProp server.

Here's the three tablets:

Maybe turn remote control on/off and on again on them?

I'm not getting any units for any of Androids. I've enabled Remote Control, tried a reset and removed and added WUprop again but the message still says no tasks sent, any ideas?

Pete
